Directed by Sean Runnette and Sarah Henley | The goal of this 6 week course is to help you become more comfortable with Shakespeare, letting the meter guide you to clear storytelling, spontaneity and real human behavior. We’ll be using our upcoming production of Pericles (to be directed by Sarah Henley) as a starting point, working with scenes from this happily bonkers play. Students will be paired based on time commitments and goals. This is a process class – you’ll be under no pressure to be off book or performance-ready. (Mind you, if being ready to open on week six is part of your process, go for it!)
